More About Me

Betah's Page

If you're looking for a little more in depth description of me
than what you can see on the home page, well here's your place!

I'm a guy capable of a few things, I really enjoy
spriting, making 2D art, or putting together insane videos
for the enjoyment of my followers online.

But anyways, if you came for my life story
for some reason, here's most of that.

Over 13 years ago, I was born. But let's skip that boring stuff
and get to where my life pretty much actually starts.

When I was about say, 5 or 6 years old,
I came across this little thing called "the internet".
Yes, ever since then I've been using it practically on the daily.
When I was younger though, I was just mostly, say, playing games,
and watching stupid YouTube videos. But all of that
changed in 2020 when I got a bit of an early start to the side of
the internet I'm on now.

When I was 10, I was looking for some communities
to get myself involved with. One that I discovered was the
Super Mario 64 community. It really caught my interest for some reason.
so I decided to make my way into my first Discord server.
At 10. Yeah, if you couldn't tell by now, I didn't have monitored
internet access. Whether that's a bad thing or a good thing I'm unsure
(probably bad) but I can't say it was terrible since it lead me
to the places I am now.

Anyways, I found myself exploring more communities past that,
and basically met most of the people I know now. Other people though I've
met through Twitter, which I also started using at the same age of 10. As if using
Discord at that age wasn't bad enough. Oh well.

Anyways, that's pretty much all of that. But I guess I should tell you some
of my interests as well.

One major interest of mine, though an extremely obvious one by now I'm sure, is Mario.
Every mainline Mario game has pretty much been one of my favorite games ever.
Of course, I do enjoy some making and karting once in a while.

Another one,
I've always found myself interested in prerelease or unfinished
video games, and I also think that fake stuff based on video game prototypes
or surrounding an unfinished game are cool too. Big part of the reason
I like Petscop so much, other than just it's generally really interesting story.
That same interest kind of lead me to be interested in the prototype
versions of Super Mario 64 for a while, though I shudder looking back
on those days.

Speaking of Petscop, did you know that the little
character you keep seeing at the top of every page is partially
inspired by the character from it? Yup, he was originally
a Petscop fan character of sorts but he basically morphed
into what he is now. Speaking of him, where is he?

Anyways, I guess that's really all I have to say here.
